Nischith S. S. is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy, teaching pharmacognosy and allied subjects with an emphasis on interactive, concept-oriented learning that connects theory to practical application. He completed his master’s degree at Adichunchanagiri University, where he is currently awaiting his PhD degree.
His research interests lie in natural products and their therapeutic potential, drawing on both experimental and computational approaches. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national conferences.

His research interests lie in natural bioactives and their therapeutic potential, spanning optimised extraction using response surface methodology, standardisation of assays, and the development of nutraceuticals. Evaluation areas include hepatoprotective, antidiabetic, anti-glycation, neuroprotective, wound-healing and anticancer activity, alongside antimicrobial resistance and valorisation of fruit-processing residues, integrating experimental and computational approaches
