About

Dr. Siddesh G K is a Professor in the School of Engineering, RV University, Mysuru. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Bangalore University, M.Tech in Digital Electronics and Advanced Communication from Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, and a Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi.

Prior to joining RV University, he served in premier institutions which includes Jain University, PES Institute of Technology, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, J S S Academy of Technical Education. He has around 24 years of teaching experience and 13 years of research experience. He has worked at various capacities as Head of the Department, Head-R&D, Dean- ECE/EEE.

He has successfully guided SIX PhD Scholars. He has around 20 Scopus publications to his credit and has completed three research grants / projects. He also has three granted patents to his credit and published 7 patents. Beyond research, He had led curriculum design, faculty development initiatives , accreditation, and chaired key academic bodies like the Board of Studies, Board of Examinations of various universities and autonomous institutions in Karnataka. A prolific academician who has also authored three text books / book chapters and involved in establishing centre of excellence and industry connect laboratories.

His research interests include Wireless and Computer Communication, Network and Cyber Security, Internet of Things and Image Processing. Driven by research, innovation, and a true vision for holistic learning, Dr. Siddesh G K continues to inspire excellence in research, innovation and teaching at RV University.
