About

Dr. Shilpa Bidi is an Assistant Professor in the School of Management at RV University, Mysuru Campus. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, under the prestigious Dr. T.M.A. Pai Scholarship Program. Her doctoral research explores the role of psychological resources in fostering resilient educators and sustainable educational ecosystems.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce (Human Resource Management) from Mangalore University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Mysore. Prior to entering academia, she gained professional experience at Hewlett Packard Global Investments and Manipal Press Ltd., and later served as Principal of Little Millennium Preschool, Manipal. These diverse experiences have enriched her understanding of people, organizations, and leadership.

Dr. Bidi’s research interests lie at the intersection of Positive Organizational Behaviour, Occupational Well-being, Psychological Capital, Workplace Stress, Coping Mechanisms, Human Resource Analytics, and Sustainable Human Resource Management. Her scholarly work seeks to understand how organizations can create environments where individuals thrive while achieving sustainable performance outcomes.

She has published in reputed Scopus-indexed journals and presented award-winning research at national and international conferences. Her contributions have been recognized through multiple Best Paper Awards, and she actively serves the academic community as a reviewer for international journals.

Through her teaching, research, and academic engagement, Dr. Bidi is committed to advancing evidence-based management practices and contributing to the development of positive workplaces, resilient individuals, and sustainable institutions.
