About

I am Dr. Kishore, originally from Thirthahalli. My career started in a small town, driven by a great passion for science. I have a broad spectrum of experience, spanning from teaching high school students to conducting high-quality research. Moving across the borders to pursue my passion for science is the driving motivation. I have accomplished excellent research experience and am willing to contribute further to society in my current role at RV University, Mysore.

Teaching and Research: I have 2 years of academic teaching experience before I began my research career. I am a biochemistry expert with a great interest in metabolism and metabolic diseases.

Dr. Kishore is an accomplished preclinical researcher specializing in metabolic diseases, with a dedicated focus on conditions including MASLD, diabetes, and obesity. Over a distinguished decade-long career across global research hubs, he has developed extensive expertise in advancing biomedical research. His international journey includes 2 years of significant postdoctoral research experience at King’s College London and 5 years of PhD studies at the University of Groningen (The Netherlands).


As a rigorous academic, Dr. Kishore has made impactful contributions to the scientific community, notably serving as the first author on key publications exploring hepatic metabolism and glycogen storage disease. His publication achievements reflect a sophisticated ability to synthesize complex metabolic and genetic data into high-impact narratives. Deeply engaged in academic publishing and editorial strategy, he has worked across advanced therapeutics, targeted drug delivery, and neurobiology, bridging preclinical breakthroughs with rigorous peer-reviewed discourse for tier journals.


In 2026, after bringing his international insights back to India, he joined RV University’s Mysore campus as an Assistant Professor. In this role, he bridges the gap between cutting-edge metabolic research and higher-education leadership, integrating student-centric academic teaching.
