Vagdevi H. S. is a media and communication educator, researcher, and soft-skills trainer, currently working at RV University, Mysuru, India. Her career spans nearly two decades with expertise across journalism education, gender and media studies, development communication, digital media, advertising, corporate communication, and media management. She holds a Ph.D. in Electronic Media and has contributed to teaching, research, academic content development, and media-related projects. Her academic work includes journal publications, books, book chapters, research projects, and conference presentations. A recipient of multiple Best Paper Awards, she brings together scholarship, teaching, and a deep curiosity about the evolving media landscape.
