Sharanya A R, Chethana K S, “Identification of Seizures in EEG Waves using Determinant Analysis”, International Journal of Engineering Research in Electronic and Communication Engineering (IJERECE), Vol 3, Issue 5, May 2016
This focused on the detection of epileptic seizures using EEG signal analysis. Determinant analysis is employed to identify characteristic patterns associated with seizure activity. The proposed approach extracts and evaluates features from EEG recordings to distinguish abnormal signals from normal brain activity. The method aims to improve the accuracy and efficiency of automated seizure detection. The study demonstrates the potential of signal processing techniques in supporting the diagnosis of neurological disorders.

Sharanya A R, Juslin F, Bhargavi K, “Design of Low-Cost Soft Robotic Hand”, Journal of Propulsion Technology, Vol.44, No. 5, Oct 2023.
This presented the design and development of a low-cost soft robotic hand for assistive and robotic applications. The system utilizes flexible materials and soft actuation mechanisms to mimic the movement of a human hand. The design emphasizes affordability, lightweight construction, and safe interaction with objects. The robotic hand is capable of adapting to different shapes and sizes during grasping tasks. The work contributes to the advancement of soft robotics for applications such as rehabilitation, prosthetics, and human–robot interaction.

Keen to explore Biomedical Signal Processing and its role in advancing healthcare technologies.

My research interests focus on applying signal processing techniques to address real-world medical challenges and support intelligent clinical decision-making.
