About
Dr. Shruthi P is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering
at RV University. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from
Visvesvaraya Technological University, with her doctoral research focused on “Software
Aging Prediction and Rejuvenation Model for Cloud Platform.” She completed her
M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from Siddaganga Institute of Technology
under VTU and earned her B.E in Information Science & Engineering from Vivekananda
Institute of Technology under VTU.
Her academic and research contributions are reflected through numerous journal
publications, including papers published in Q1, Q2, Q3, Scopus-indexed, and UGC-
approved journals. She has presented research papers at both international and national
conferences and has achieved notable scholarly milestones through two granted patents
and the publication of two books. She has also contributed as a Resource Person for
Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and ICT-enabled training sessions conducted for
faculty members across various institutions.
Beyond teaching and research, Dr. Shruthi P has actively organized and coordinated
workshops, seminars, technical talks, Project Expo and IP Conclave and FDPs at State
level for faculty members and students. She strongly believes in continuous learning and
professional development and regularly participates in workshops and FDPs on emerging
technologies. Notably, she was part of the International FDP on Robotics Week
conducted at Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt.
In recognition of her consistent dedication and contributions to academics and
institutional development, she received the RV Achiever Award from Rashtreeya
Sikshana Samithi Trust for three consecutive years. She has also secured project funding
and generated revenue through initiatives associated with Indian Institute of Technology
Guwahati. Currently, she is guiding a research scholar and actively contributing towards
academic excellence, research innovation, and institutional growth.
